| The Legend airframe is made
primarily of carbon fiber-honeycomb core composite panels. The
advantages of these materials are many. Pound for pound, they are stronger,
lighter and stiffer, and enable a design with smooth, low drag and efficient
compound-curve surfaces. |

Another very important aspect of
material selection for the Legend is that of flame resistance. Nearly all of the
Legend airframe materials are fire resistant and self extinguishing. |
